How many w/c to do on 180?

+1, what Dan and "Err" said :) Start with what you think works, and monitor. From there you can increase/decrease. I don't think anyone provide you a definitive answer as to what is sufficient without getting data and water parameters with your WC routine.

Get rid of those pleco then you should be fine with smaller WC every other weeks.
Pleco is Nitrate factory machine!

Ty for the answers I guess I'll just have to test it and find out. And I have heard plants like duckweed and anacharis grow so quickly that they remove organics fairly quickly but I haven't tested it out myself.
I already know w/c are the most important part of an aquarium and that's why I wish I had more time but at the moment I don't sadly. I will check the aquarium ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate each week and make sure that they don't go too crazy or I will have to remove some fish.
What ppm of nitrate would I have to keep it under for the fish to thrive? <20ppm <40?

I have a 125 with a heavy stock. I do a 80% water change usually on fridays then I'll do another 25 to 30% Monday or Tuesday. Well that's what I try to do anyways.

Under 20 ppm if possible but this also depends on what you tap water is like, a few places in the UK have 20 ppm out of the tap.
