Hi.... I have a 72 Gallon Bow-Front tank (below):

Currently, I have the following:
2 Gold Mollies
6 Fancy Guppies
6 Glo-Light Tetras
8 Zebra Bontia (Loaches)
2 Angel Fish
4 Plecos ---
a. 1 (not sure) Colombian Pleco (about 3 1/2 inches now)
b. 1 Gold Tiger Pleco (about 1/2 inch)
c. 1 Green Phantom Pleco (about 2 inches)
d. 1 Golden Nugget Pleco (about 1 1/2 inches)

I was thinking about getting 1 more pleco... I would love to get a Sunshine Pleco (and if I ever can afford it, possibly a Zebra Pleco down the line (since the Zebras only grow to about 3 inches max.)). With the possible addition of the desired Sunshine Pleco, would this be too much for my 72 gallon tank?

Put in some more hiding spaces and you will be fine. Either cave type decorations or more driftwood. Keep zebras away from aggressive plecos btw phantoms and Goldie's are some aggressive dudes

So far, I've had my Green Phantom Pleco for about 5 weeks, and my Golden Nugget pleco for 3 weeks. They don't appear to be aggressive. Goldie swims about alot, sucking up and down the glass too, while Green P basically sits around and does nothing. The aggressive one appears to be my (unsure) Colombian Pleco (who has chased after both GP and GN several times, and then settles down).

In general, would the Sunshine Pleco be aggressive towards the other plecos which I mentioned in my tank?

Correction/update to my inventory of Plecos....
Green Phantom Pleco - about 3 inches
Golden Nugget Pleco - about 2 inches
Gold Tiger Pleco - about 1 inch
Columbian Pleco (what I am beginning to believe is really a Spotted Sailfin Pleco) - about 5 1/2 inches.

So, with all those plecos in my tank, I just saw a pleco I have never seen before. I don't remember what the name was in the store, but I think it was a Blue Panaque Pleco. Here is a picture that seems to resemble what I just saw in the store...img-9787-2.jpg

Also, I was trying to find some information on this Pleco. I can't seem to find much on this one. Some of the pictures which I saw ONLINE of the Blue Panaque Pleco looked either green or grey. Do these plecos either change or lose their color? The Salesperson at the fish store told me that this pleco can grow to about 6-8 inches, and it is an omnivore (sp?). He said that it should get along fine with my other plecos, but he told me that with 4 plecos in my tank (72 gallons - see picture in my opening post), I really shouldn't get another. Do you think I am going overboard if I decide to buy this one? It really is so tempting, and it does look unique.

That blue pleco does look sweet. I do agree with the guy from the store though that you are getting too many plecos. They should be fine for a while but they will probably outgrow the tank and become more aggressive with each other as they get larger. I would definitely like to know what that blue pleco is though.
