If you search the forums for reviews on sunsun or perfect filters they'll answer all the questions you can have about true gph/media/setup etc. It looks like the one you found is a "Super" brand, but it's the exact same as the other two I mentioned. I am already running the smaller HW-302 along with a fluval 405 and I really like it, especially for the price difference. In fact I have been thinking about adding the exact same one you're looking at to my setup as well(I'm a huge believer in overfiltration, as well as overstocking on my rift setup).
 
For HOB filters, I only use Aquaclears. They push a ton of water, are very reliable, slow(est) to clog and are easy to clean. You can also reuse the sponges for years.

An AC110 would be a nice addition to the canister.
