So some have all jacked up strips? And if my silver and gar are around 12 inches, what size dats should I get?

5"+ should be okay. Just look at Datnoid photos and you will see the difference, basicly symmetrical, even "Bars"/stripes on both sides. And as for Different size Datnoids, the Bigger one should be the Dominate and the smaller ones will submit. Same size dats will Fight for dominance and sometimes it results in death.
