The dimensions are 6' by 2' by 18". I have 3 emperor 400's for filtration. Currently have 20 1.5" Africans and two 1.5" convicts. Is this stock good for life?
I see pp on you tube with like 40 but I don't want to over stock. But at the same time I added them all yesterday so if I can add more I rather now then later
Take anything you see on YouTube with a grain of salt. Half the time those are not properly stocked or fail later. I've seen people who have jags, red devils, and other aggressive things in small tanks doesn't mean they work in the long. A YouTube video is a snapshot at that time
Lmao I hear ya. I will just user grinch per gallon rule I guess. 22 six inch fish should be good. No buttikoferi that's for sure. Had one they are mean mean fish

And the 1 inch per gallon DOES NOT WORK past small community fish. Lets get a 30g cube and put 1 30 inch fish in it. I don't think a 10" fish in a 30g would do good. It would be stunted growth, health and lifespan.
Most I've personally seen for africans in tank that is successful in the long haul with few losses ( I think 5 in 4 years ) is 18, lots of smaller 3-4" and only a few that are 5-7". Tank is a 135 (not that much difference) so it's 6' long 18" wide and I think 27" tall?
