I joined Dec of '06 with a 29g. I had kept fish since i was like 10 but I didn't really know what i was doing. I was keeping African Cichlids at the time I joined and was doing pretty good for the average fishkeeper. Shortly after joining i got another 29, then a 10 for my wife, my betta collection expanded to crown tails, halfmoons and so on. I then traded in one of my 29s for a 75 and advanced to Tanganyikins. the 75 turned out to not be big enough, got a 150. Got more ACs. Moved and barely had room to take the 150. Sold a 29 and got a 55 and a small pond. Got an Electric eel...boring. more ACs, Black piranha, kept natives shortly, started rescuing overgrown fish and finding more suitable homes for them. I know i'd have about 50 tanks, a bigger pond and an indoor pond if i just had the room in the house. Still not enough time, money and tanks for all the fish i have learned about on here. I now work at petco and have become the fish I.D. guy for fish not commonly sold in the area. I'm lucky I found a woman who is very loving and 'understandable'. She's even leaving work alittle early today to pick up some fish for me! I LOVE MY WIFE! Anyother woman would have kicked me out by now. Thank you MFK. for helping me expand in my favorite hobby, become more experienced at work and help me spend every last bit of extra money i have. I'm a smarter, fishier broker man because of MFK!
