I've seen them for 5.99 at that price, but it's a good one. Just make sure your tank's hot enough and your water parameters are right, because they are sensitive at that size. I've seen lfs in my hood kill whole batches at that size.

Not bad for me really my collection is complete. :D With a few addition's that I will never see in my LFS (unless I sell it to them). There is nothing my LFS can do for me as far as my need's. I just feel bad for the Sorry sap that has to deal with them now. I paid some change for my collection right now LFS or online vendor but nothing compaired to that.

Seriously any price seem's to be a lot when you don't really have it. Especially when what your bying can dye on the way home. :WHOA: And I am begining to slow down now and I see how crazy the frenzy is. As a first time Cichla keeper I would have never paid that much for one Cichla. I don't care how red the eye's are.

To the OP that's is a great price for a start. GL and keep us updated.
