How Much Aeration For An Armatus?

Becarefull with the powerhead- put some sort of filter over the intake. I had a armatus get his eye stuck to the intake of the powerhead. Resulted in profound exothalmus.......and eventually death. I thought it was a freak accident but the same thing happened to another payara of mine.
