good luck with that 10 dollar thing. i had a tank break and gave up 4 discus and got 10 dollars a piece. they had me by the b@**S tho so meh.

thanks, ill give it a try because you never know until you try. my lfs sells them from 20-40 a piece so i don't think asking $10 for such large and healthy specimens is too much but i'll post back and let everyone know.....hopefully it all goes well
Yeah good luck! It really just depends on the LFS. If they are common in your area you might not get what you want. I traded in my 3, 4" African Cichlids about 6 months ago and they gave me $10 a piece for them. But at the time they didnt have very many bigger Africans. This was the same LFS where I bought my 2 5" Tinfoils for $20. They would have been $20 a piece but they do a Two for Tuesday, buy 1 get 1 free. But, good luck! I hope you get what your wanting! ( and I dont know how much your Discus are at your LFS but they are $65 a piece at mine. And if they are about the same at yours, say you get $50 for your Tinfoils, you're only going to be paying about $15 for a discus. I wouldnt complain about that!)
thanks for your optemisim, over here discus are around the same price and of course i would not mind getting a discus for 15 lol. i have never seen such big tinfoils anywhere here except at a display tank so i think that at the right store i could get a pretty good deal you know what i mean. i just hope that i dont end up losing on them or that i cant find any buyers.
I'd love to see a picture! I've got no clue how much you could get for 'em, however, I think you'll get a better deal at your' LFS than some hobo off of craigslist.
hahah i dont have any good quality pictures now, ill try and get some later if i can get a better camera lol and i bought them for $5 a piece so hopefully i can double my investment and i already emailed one lfs and it was a no go so im crossing my fingers with the rest and lmao hobo off craigslist
