yeah he did,
which is actually 5184 cubic inches
and that equals 576 SCRUBBIES...
(*>>insert shameless plug<<*)
And I know where you can get a great deal on them too!!...

So i'm looking at three options:
1) 35 gallon rubbermade filled with scrubbies
2) a 40 gallon breeder. I would try to figure out how to 1.5 to 2 cubic ft of scrubbies in and a deep sand bed. Would be a tight fit and I would have to figure out how to get it all in, but I think its doable (as long as some of the scrubbies are not submerged)
3) I found a used acylic 20 gallon sump with a calcium reactor and a skimmer. It has three chambers. I would add a drip plate and scrubbies to the first one and try to get a deep sand bed in the second. I'm not sure if it would fit in which case I would go with live sand covered by liverock.

Are any of these opptions a no-brainer?

By the way, that link is great. I'm still reading some of the articles.

It is currently brackish. As the fish get older, they switch to full salt. The LR would need to be added after I made it to full salt. The deep sand bed would go in earlier in order to get the denitrification going
