How much do Acanthicus Adonis cost where you live?

I got him. Since my contact wasn't there, I wasn't able to...finagle...so I just paid the full $32. I have no regrets, as I feel the universe owes me this fish after taking my first one. I'm calling him Redemption Song. No holds barred, this is the jewel of my collection. And the best excuse I know of to get that 1000 gallon tank in a few years.

I liked the asymmetrical dot near his tail. But why are LFS plecos almost always so underfed? It makes me mad. I mean, I've often found them on their death bed, just starving to death. It's pathetic. Feed your plecos, you stingy LFS managers!
First got one 15 years ago for $20 at 5". After 2 years, it died during a power outage. Saw some for the first time in 13 years a couple of years ago for $25 at 3" Died about a year later...don't know why
Then I saw some last year for $15 at 1" Decided not to get one this time since I'm already over stocked

The guys at this store tried to convince me that these are a new breed of Adonis that dont get over 5 or 6 inches but I dont believe this.
