I was not sure how to title this thread but there is alot of judgement on this sight. Maybe a day in a fishkeepers life would have been better. Today started out with a 20 gal water change in a 120. Nevermind the fish you can go back and find what I have. Have had sister-n-laws kids for over 2 months now. After what happened last night all you can say is crack kills, and when a daughter looks at her mother and says do you have 20$ so I can go get high. Then I was in the kitchen and her mom smacks her BECAUSE THE ACTUAL MOM OF THESE KIDS FIRES UP A CRACK PIPE IN MY HOUSE. Kids are in major trama mom could have gone with them and chose to stay here to shoot up and smoke crack and to top the day off my wife hit a patch of ice and totaled our van. Then I come home and realize I never plugged the heaters back in. The balas are acting real funny now. The water temp got down to 74. One of the botias to. the 11" clown knife still loving life. What kills me is we buy the fish to watch and enjoy. I've watched what was truely a good freind of mine lose her family a 5 and 7 year old to crack and before you judge to hard my brother-n-law died a year ago where he was ran over by a guy in a truck. Never realy explained why he ran over and killed Darrin. Hell he was going to work ran a light killed a man in Canada no jail time no loss of lisense He killed a aman and got away with it. Cannot wait to see the post anyways water went from 78 to 74. Will they snap out of it?

Wow, that is crazy. Sounds like your having some really rough times, sorry to hear man. Hopefully things will go better and your fish should snap out of it. I forgot to plug in my heater once after doing a water change and the temp dropped overnight to about 71 degrees from 78-80 degrees. I also had a clown knife but had ca/sa cichlids in with it as well as a common pleco and 4 line pimelodella catfish.

aww..I'm so glad my clown's doing so well..you measured him eh?11"??Fantastic...Did that bugger manage to eat anything else that he wasn't suppose to?
Damn those heaters...Most fish are pretty resistant...I think almost every fish keeper has forgotten to turn their heaters back on after a water change at least once...

Sorry to hear about the other situations..you'll make it through it though, good things always come to those who deserve it.

To top things off they uped the charges to careless driving today which is the same charge they put on the guy who killed her brother. So now we have to get a lawyer, and no Kat he only has a taste for Bichirs. lol. The one danio who refuses to be moved is even still swiming around. I was kind of worried about the clown because he did not eat for 2 days. Now he's eating great. I was kind of worried because buying feeder Bichirs gets realy expensive quick

im confused on what this thread is really about and where it belongs, does it go in the lounge area because 99% of it is about non fish stuff or stay here because he asked about his heaters.

personally i think the fish will be fine. but the other chit chat goes in the lounge (where i bet you will get more of an answer pertaining to the small talk)

and the title of the thread really had nothing to do with the topic. you never asked how much we loved our fish, or told us how much you love your fish. this thread is weird

It was just a rant man. Had a bad day. Why so confused? The point of how much do you care about your fish is even after such a crapy day still woried about my fish. Next time I will make sure I post anything I put on here in the right place just for you. I'm so glad you corrected me on that. As a matter of fact I will contact you for now on before I put a post up here. I am sooo sorry to everybody on this site for any confusion I may have caused any of you guys for making you read my post. Will not happen again.

Awesome thread. And regardless of where you posted it. I am glad that I found it. It reminds me of how important my fish are to me. Because regardless of how hectic, chaotic or stressfull my life may be. I still devote a lot of time to keeping them. My fish are almost like my salvation. My tank is like the one member of my family that I can go to and just really "exhale" all of them internal feelings that put knots in my stomach. Sometimes it's hard being the rock in your house. Sometimes you must bear the brunt of situations like yours, Because if you let it move you too much. It will impact those around you. I sit and meditate with my fish about all types of things that I don't want the Missus and Youngins to have to think about. I love my fish for that.

Fibromyalgia, Scoliosis, Unknown lump in the vertebrate, Reynauds and Osteoarthritis... and I still kill myself with all the work I do for my reptiles and fish. But I love them so I do it, and I will continue to do it until I am in a casket :)

if you go to my first thread on here, i reacted the same way when someone dissagreed...

i wasnt bashing you, jsut pointing out what I thought was up with the thread. ill gladly accept any pms you would like to send my way.
