Good to know. I want to start a fh breeding project and there hard to come accross here in richmond... So this could be a start I suppose.
I doubt this fish will improve that much...madwhitehat;2306981; said:Good call. Seriously though, with better water conditions and a good diet, this guy will improve alot and will be a nice pet.
Okay so maybe I'll just leave it alone and wait for the next dirt cheap high grade flower horn to pop upbeantickler;2307016; said:I doubt this fish will improve that much...

Definitely. If you are breeding, you need to start with high quality.JPlikewoah;2307033; said:I'd say don't get it even for free especially if you are going to breed them. You are going to waste nothing but your time and get nowhere anytime soon. I'd say wait for another better quality FH to pop up, which in this case....any 9 out of 10 FHs will be a better quality than that male

Not that I know what made them that way besides the obvious differences from this fish and his specimens... Any suggestions on where to start learning about the quality characteristics of FH's?
