I am also trying to convert my hytrix off nightcrawlers/worms
Started with smelt. Once they thawed, I put some worms on top for an hour or two, to pick up the smell.
After a few days they started eating the smelt and now I don't have to use the worms.
Now trying the same trick with white fish fillet. Day 2, not eating it yet, but am sure they will take to it in another day or so.
The hard part will be pellets.
I travel for work a fair amount and my mrs isn't keen on fiddling with live/frozen food.
