not sure of the exact weight, but I just bought a 350 made with 3/4" acrylic and two of us were able to carry it.

According to it, a 8x2x2 made out of .5" thick acrylic weighs ~197 lbs. I agree that two grown men should be able to easily carry a standard acrylic 240G.
Acrylic is nearly half the weight of glass of the same thickness.

Glass does not weigh 10x as much as acrylic.
Using your logic, a glass 240G would weigh nearly 2,000lbs.
These tank manufacturers/distributors all state that acrylic weighs 50% less than glass.

yea, It only FEELS like 2000 lbs when you are carrying it!!!
