20-30 mbuna's is a good stocking level. You may want to structure your gender ratio so that you have several females per male per species, particularly with the aggressive types.

+1 on that, usually give about 2 tablespoons of the pellets to 13 fish (3-4" with one 5") and I absolutely agree on overstocking, but I do watch the water params and change water weekly 50% (daily right now till BB catches up.)

I am pretty much in agreeance with everyone above. I sort of trial and errored the quantity. If too much hit the ground and no one seemed interested, I backed off the next feeding. All my guys prefer to hit the pellet when it's floating or sinking.

Of course, first thing in the morning, sometimes they get whatever I happen to dump with squinting eyes and caffeine withdrawl shakes

By the way, you are thawing your frozen cubes, right?
