Where the heart is!!!
That's a beasty fire eel. Not many (if any) for sale at that size but I'm imagining someone who really wants it may pay somewhere around $150-$200...just a guess though.

What's it eating?

I feed him catfish, talapia, or whatever type of fish that is on sale but he loves shrimp and earthworms.

I've seen juvies from 20$-40$ on average 12"+ go for 100$ so 36" I could see somewhere in the 200$ range outside of a LFS. Personally on a specimin like that I would put a slightly higher price tag to help insure a good home. But on that note knowing it was going to a good home would make me haggle the price. Particularly an animal I raised from a juvie. But thats just me.

I have whole fish fillets that I chop up into 1/2'' pieces. I have two eels, one that's around 36'' and the other that is 30'' the longer one is thinner in his body around the thickness of a coke can and the shorter one is a fatty and is about twice as thick. I will post pic soon.

I would say up to $300 isn't unreasonable. For the right buyer you could ask even more. I wouldn't take less than $200. I've only seen one at that size sold once and it was for $200 and was gone within minutes of the guy posting the ad.
