someday i will take the trip with them... but i have too many animals too...belgian horses, quarter horses, cat, dogs, 3 parrots, and 29 fish tanks...but if i ever see a nice farm there it would be tempting... lol good luck getting your bird... :D

petsmart try to sell these albino ringnecks for 1,000 bucks when you can get a pretty one for around 200

I have a yellow crested amazon and once had a congo african grey myself till my mom claimed her on me after I joined the Army. My wife didn't want a grey. I also heard that cockatoos are bad pluckers when left alone alot, so if you travel I wouldn't want to risk it. Quackers are banned in some states so thats why you might not have seen any in a while.

yes I think ill try for an african grey
but I have one question, can you potty train them? by this I mean they have a spot to go potty as my worst experience was a parrot pooping on my head
my god did I freak out lol

mine almost always goes on command over a garbage pail... but it takes alot of accidents before they are trained... so you better be prepared.. lol..mine loves to sit on my head... but he would never do that... :D:D

so now I am deciding between african grey and Eclectus Parrot as I have heard the eclectus is alot more social to more than just their owner (visiters) also they have beutiful plummage
