How much heat for a 220g?

i got 2 300 watt heaters on my 220 and the temp stays at 87-90 with no problem

On my 220, I just have a single 300w heater and my temp stays at 81-82 degrees F (it is at 81 in the early morning and 82 by late afternoon).

Sorry, I forgot to include that my room temp. is 74F.

if ur room temp is 74 then u can get away with one 300 no problem

I have a single 250w on my 240.Room temp 68-72. Has no problem maintaining 78 Degrees. Took 72 hours running wide open to get to 84.
Version2 will have two 150w. I'd rather wear out a heater from over use than have it stick on and fry my fish. IMO smaller is better.
