How much is a 3" leucistic Bala shark worth ._.

haha im pretty sure ive experienced this before... when i worked at a wholesaler every 2-300 balasharks there would be 1 lighter colored one swimming around so i would grab them n seperate them. took them home only to be told by the vet who worked at the wholesaler that they have cataracts and r blind n thats why i had to seperate them. So congrats... u have a blind fish :P
 
i found out mine were blind by putting a net into the tank n putting it in their swimming path n they would just swim straight into it :P

Of course that's a true statement but if you take it just a little bit further the point is what would we (fish keeper guys and girls) pay for this fish: how rare is it??? He's kind of taking a poll if you will, and just seeing what other people have seen this type of fish sold for. Maybe someone thinks it worth $1000? or someone says "ah it's just $20" kind of gauging the rarity of the fish. So the answer "what ever someone wants to pay for it" just doesn't really hit the mark, kind of like talking to a 12 year old. IMO :)
 
Well the reality of that is people talk a lot about what they would or wouldn't spend for something. Getting them to actually pony up that amount is another.

So instead of asking what something is worth, put it up on auqubid or ebay and be done with it.
