lets say that money is not an obstacle in your life and you are really interested in this unusual looking fish which is probably not worth the asking price but the seller is aware of your money potential and your craving for the fish would you fall in his trap or resist the temptation//////// BTW Iam talking 5000 $ at least //////////

I think it is too much, I would regret it even if I had lots of money, because there are cheaper or even free interesting fish out there, it would feel more rewarding to get a good deal than feel taken advantage of. never deal with someone who knows how much you can afford!

When you take into account that you might never come accross something this nice again the stress involved in the grow out of a baby to to size of the present fish '' I know that i am just looking for a push but dont i somehow make sense HUH

The stress involved in growing out a baby to a good size? I don't know much about gars, but how is growing out stressfull?
I love growing out my fish, it's a lot more rewarding then spending a lot of money on an already full-grown fish.

If this is truly how you feel and have the money than "Go for it"
About 25 years ago I saw a Hemisynodontis Membracius at the LFS and passed it up and NEVER saw one again!

this fish is destined to be housed with a Pima wich by the way is pushing 40 in now, therefore i will have to wait until the baby gar is over 24 in before i can proceed w/the mix and trust me that anticipation can be very stressfull in my world, that is what i meant
