i supose it makes a difference if its "stock" or a pet
you bring a fish up from a baby and its more of a pet but if you bought it in for breeding only its differnt.
my fish are worth more to me as ive grown them all up personally . got them on to reasonable food myself . and have enjoyed doing it .
having an similar ray int the tank just wouldnt be the same if i came to sell it .
i guess i mean it depends how attatched to the animal you are .

IMO some rays are priceless to its owners. Mike (csx)for example I remember you saying that you've been offered a hefty penny for you marbles and you turned it down. I like to think of it as how hard it would be to get another ray of the same quality or pattern.
