How much is this flowerhorn worth???

Yeah I guess it is a great deal. They have so many different types of flowerhorns that have been traded in. I think Im gonna rescue this one. Looks like Im gonna have to keep my 125 gallon. I haven't gotten any hits on it anyways. I have a divider that I will put in until I decide what to do with my red devil. Im sure they can't live together without one of them ending up dead

And this fish would need to be kept alone?
Would you all say it would be worth it to get rid of my red devil for the flowerhorn?

Not necessarily. I have seen Flowerhorns kept with other cichlids, but usually there is very little to no decor in the tank. Flowerhorns will define their territory in a tank if there is decor to call their own. I have kept FHs in bare bottom tanks with just a couple rocks and they literally will make a home out of those rocks and attack the other cichlids to defend it.

TL;DR Nothing in the tank but fish, good to go. Decor in the tank? Expect some civil unrest.

Anybody else have other experiences?
 
You will probably not be able to keep them together long term. Both are generally Hardcore aggressive and even if they are ok with each other at first it will eventually come to blows between them.
 
Hmmm... I would hate to take my Red devil to a lfs. I really really want the flowerhorn so I guess I have a decision to make.

bring home the fh first then decide to bring to lfs after. U might keep both
