how much is your elec bill?

Wow 12 Volt Man! I would kill for only .057 per kwh

I just grabbed my last bill. our rates have gone up. we pay $0.058 now..lol

thats one thing about utilities here in Ontario, they are relatively cheap compared to some places in the States.

I know fellow MFKer's in parts of California pay literally 10x what I am paying for hydro/water.

my combined water/wastewater bill is about $90 for two months usage, so around $45 per month.

what gets us here is all the other charges on the bill. the actual electricity usage is about 1/2 of the total bill. there is delivery charges, regulatory charges and all kinds of other stuff. its stupid.

also, one thing that my help your grandma is to go on an equal billing plan.

it makes it easier to budget as you would pay the same amount each month.

I am on a plan where I pay $108 per month for electricity and water/wastewater (they are combined on one bill that comes every two months).

so 6 times per year I get a bill, but I pay an equal amount (that is smaller) 12 times per year. so it is easier on the pocketbook.

wow soooo she shouldnt complain about it! gotta tell you all somthing:

ok before we moved in the upstaires was not in use at all ( 3 bedrooms up there and an atic ) and her bills were in the 70s now that we moved in ( there was just her and grandad living here ) now theres 6 ppl living here and her bills jumped to 120 a month, if you ask me thats normal.. my aunt has a mini fridge running upstiairs and they barely remember to turn the lights off and my grandad has a mini fridge goin so all in all from 70 to 120 that to me sounds like a good price from 2 ppl living here to 6 ppl....

it gets about 400 dollar in the middle of the summer(AC) or winter(Heat).
around 300 in the other seasons. I should mention I have 4 people in my house.
