How much on average do you spend feeding your fish every month ?

A four lbs bag of tilapia last two months and 2.2 lbs hikari gold plus last 3 months so it's about $15 a month for 250g of tanks.

I do the same. Has anyone tried ken's fish food in the bulk ? I'm starting to think I can save by getting that every month as a staple. My fish are pretty picky though... so I'm unsure if they will like it or not.
i tried to save money feeding kens fish food products. I think they are rebranded Best Flakes foods. They are good food as fillers but if you want show quality colors then hikari bio gold plus is the way to go. Also some of my picky eaters won't take Ken cuz the pellets are really hard. On top of that hikari is engineer to reduce fish waste.

Only $9 for a bag of Hikari pellets that can last me over a month.

Between shrimp, tilapia, earthworms, pellets, blackworms, and misc frozen foods, I'm probably at the $100/month mark.

Visible Waste Reduction
More utilization of the nutrition equates to less waste output
The Hikari Germ™ stays active in the waste for a short period of time further breaking it down to a powdery state. This state is easier for your filtration to handle and therefore helps reduce water quality issues over time.

I just have 3 of my tanks setup atm. Not sure how much i pay monthly on food, i buy flakes & pellets regularly and then frozen foods like bloodworms time to time. I think I spend more money on my fish thru my water and power bills.

every 3 months i buy live bloodworms, night crawlers, canadian crawlers, meal worms
& super worms. Fresh shrimp, tilapia, salmon, cod, & squid. Frozen mysis shrimp, brine
shrimp, bloodworms, tilapia and shrimp. As for pellets; Hikari bio+, gold floating/sinking,
carnivore jumbo/arowana stick, massivore, algae wafers; NLS cichlid floating/sinking, flakes
and Azoo arowana; Xtreme Aquatics monster sinking, big fella, and flakes. Fresh fruits &
vegies like romain lettuce, squash, cranberry, tomatoes & any thing else if there is a special
sales. I buy everything in bulk every 3 months too feed all my fish and turtles. I also get free
feeders from my buddies shop that i feed after 3-4 weeks of quarantine and being fed NLS
flakes & a bit everything else crushed up. spend about 3-400 with some items requiring
shipping.

about 50 bucks every 5 to 6 months, this for 2 jags, 3 oscars, sun cat, 2 common plecoe,s and BKG.

aqueon super pellets, freeze dried super krill and boyds vitachem.

tack another 10 bucks for pleco algae wafers.
