I buy the gallon of prime off the internet. I dose twice the amount. I have pretty good tap water, but old pipes in my house. I have called seachem, and they told me that any house built before 1990 in the South US will require a heavier than normal dose because of metals in the water from the pipes. I fill straight from the tap, with an aerator on the end going in the tank, with Prime added before the fill begins.
