How much salt for 10g of water?

I'm pretty sure that I told you 1/4 cup of salt per 5 gallons yields about 1.0025 sg. It's .0005 above what you asked for but without a hydrometer that is as close as I can get you and is close enough that the difference wouldn't matter.

What kind of salt are you using?

regular marine salt, I`m not an stupid I know how to do it I just wanted to raise my SG by .002 so my bacteria wasn`t affected. 1/4 of salt per 5g would kill the beneficial bacteria in my filter and cycle all over again which I wanted to avoid.
I was looking for a quick answer on how to get my tank to a very low end brackish for my red claw crab. I did buy a hydrometer but I didn`t realize its one of those ones that starts at sg 1.0015 it was also the only one I have seen in a few different stores so I figured I would ask here for a quick reply.

Didn't you ask how to raise the sg to 1.002? And what I gave you was 1.0025. I'm failing to see how that would "kill your BB"...

Full marine would be somewhere around 2-1/2 cups per 5 gallons. I said 1/4 cup...about the lightest brackish you can get that's actually considered brackish and not fresh...
