im making a 26 thousand gallon pond and i need to know how much aquarium salt to put in it
I'd make my own and save lots of money. If you buy IO 200 gallon mix boxes at 45.00 ea that will cost you nearly 6000.00 unless you can get a discount which for that amount you should. If you make your own mix it would cost less than half but it would take more time to mix.

Are you ready for such a big adventure? I see you are new on here and would think you have thought this through and have done plenty of research, like filtration, how your going to keep the elements out and lots more.

Honestly, that sort of question smacks of being ill-prepared. Have you ever made saltwater before - be it from scratch or from Instant Ocean type salt?

Florida...depending on your situation I might consider using ocean water.

Bad idea in general, unless you're getting clean ocean water from a public aquarium - ask ZooDiver about the fun they have filtering ocean water...

then how much will a 4 308.77922 US gallons need and will it be able to hold 4 coral sharks 2 florida alantic freshwater stingrays and some live rocks

Seriously dude - have you EVER mixed saltwater before?? It tells you RIGHT ON THE TUB how much to mix.

You can't use ocean water for something like this for two reasons. One, you need a permit to do so. And second, you're going to want clean sterile water, not dirty parasite loaded ocean water from the shore.

If you are really going to mix up 26K or even 4,300 gallons in saltwater, call Instant Ocean and have them set you up with a sales person. They can ship the mix right to you on pallets.
