Use saltwater mix, like Instant Ocean. And mix as directed to a specific gravity of about 1.024-1.025 g. This will give you the exact salinity for most sharks for home aquaria.
So you have had three saltwater tanks before? Or were they freshwater. They tank is going to cost you around $35,000 a year to up keep so I hope you are ready for that...b/c don't forget water changes....you will need salt then too. PLus have you bought things like a skimmer for the tank? That would really help but will cost about $15,000 for a pond that large. Is it already made? Let see some pics.
this is not the first i have heard from this OP on doing outrageously huge salt ponds.......think the Canuck even got banned from on of the previous threads lol.
