How much should 2" clown loaches cost?

I've seen them for 12 all the way up to 20. I'm almost positive I saw one for 4.49 at Petco ~2 months ago...in the saltwater section . Just started keeping fish and I had no idea what a clown loach was so I didn't pay much attention to it o.o

In my area, up to 2" is considered "small" and they go for $8-10.

I will say that I am more prone to buy the ones closer to 2" if available, because they are less likely to have internal parasites.

I bargain mine with the fish store owner's daughter.. paid for $3 for all three of the clown.. she was nice....
