If that's robbing, then I guess, in comparison, the company I work for robs you, kicks you in the groin and insults your grandmother....

hahah i guess i have no idea what these companies charge. and i guess it all depends how much youre doing to set it up. like if you have to carry the tank, set it on the stand, plumb a wet dry, add air pumps, decor, canister filter, etc. then you might wanna charge more.

if the tank is already in its spot and youre just hooking up a few HOB filters, then $50 seems like a ripoff to me lol

Lol, I was thinking of telling him, look, for $100, I will have it all ready to go, and start stocking it. Then, I will come back weekly to do water changes, 20 bucks a trip...

i used to charge $3 a gallon to set it up, then $1 a gallon for follow ups, and they buy all the equiptment/stock.
