How much time do you spend watching your fish?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
With a tank in the living room, :hypnotize dining room, :hypnotize bed room, :hypnotize and a multiplex of baby fish tanks in the basement family room, :hypnotize it is hard to escape the black hole of watching the fish.:hypnotize We do not even watch TV anymore!

I spend very little time watching my catfish due to the boarding situation.
I hardly ever look at the cichlids( not mine) unless they swim by when I'm checking my catfish, I don't even know how many there are left.
If I had the clown pleco tank tank with me, I think I'd get bored with it because they either hide all of the time or sit around like rocks.

I look at my betta a lot at the apartment. I don't really sit down and watch her, being mostly in one room, I 'll just look over when I'm on my computer or when I walk by/. And she's usually hanging on the side of the computer whenever I look, lil velco fish.

Thanks for the responses. Atleast I know I am not the only 1:headbang2

i love watching my fish. We're not called hobbiest for nothing!

my roommate and I have arranged the recliners to face the row of tanks in our livingroom. we kick back after work and sip a cold one and just watch the fish for a couple hours.
I found a FH at the LFS the yesterday that would stare back intently at me, I'm pretty sure he'll be in my house by the weekend. Those red eyes hypnotized me I think...

I have a sofa chair in my room next to my tanks so I usually plop down with some food and watch my cichlids flare and chase each other. It's fun and better than watching TV. I also watch them before I go to bed since they are right next to my bed as well.
