How much to sell 75 gallon for????

I would pay $125 - $150 for the set up. Around here a new 75 gallon tank (no stand) is only $150.

Unfortunately the shop that I generally patronize was out of 75's when I went to get one to build my filter. I ended up having to get one at the expensive shop for about $180.

Actually, if I had any luck at all I would have been able to find a used tank. There is nothing quite like taking a 3" hole saw to a brand new tank.

I picked up a brand new 75 GAL tank on sale at AQUARIUM ADVENTURE for $94.00 plus tax. Your bro's setup for $150 on average would be a fair selling price.

Around here a 75 is at least $75(I wouldn't pay more than $125 and that's pushing it for jsut the tank) and lights well I could care less(I rarely use mine) so add on another 15 bucks=$90. $25 for the heater=$115. Noone ever sells stands in Ohio with their tanks so I'd pay a total of $150-175.

Not having a filter isn't a big deal, I can get a 55 and a pump and make a nice sump for $100.

Canopies are overrated, they just make the tank look bigger. Don't worry about that.
