How much total wattage do you run on your tanks?

Do you have a point?

Yeah, my point is that you probably won't know for sure how many watts total your tank is using every day because the heaters come off and on multiple times every day. If you're in places like Chicago or Wisconsin that are really cold right now, I could see that your heater would be on all day, but for someone in Florida or even someone who's heating their house at a decent temp, that won't be a problem. I run 3 tanks all with 300W heaters -- a 210G, 240G and a 10G quarantine tank and my total electricity bill is usually $70 a month. If all 3 of my tanks' heaters were running all day, my bill would be a lot higher than that.

Alright, if were talking everything on all the time then mine would break down like this.

75G with Sump and Canister
Quiet One 3000 - 55W
Eheim 2080 - 25W
GroBeam 500 LED Lights - 24W
Heater - 300W
Koarlia 750 - 5W

Total ~ 410W

For my 86 gallon tank = 465 watts
Break down

Heater = 200
2 x AC110 = 28
Fluval G6 = 27
UV sterilizer = 18
Light fixture = 192

For the 450 gallon = 2117 watts

Heaters = 1600
Reeflo pump = 145
Fluval fx5 = 50
UV sterilizer = 55
Water pump for UV = 25
Power Heads = 26
Light Fixture = 216

Of coz not everything running consistently but during summers my energy bill runs avg of $120 and winters runs avg about $400. This is included on what we use in the house for energy. Winter season energy costs tripled due to the 450g set up in the garage...
