how much would a 31" ball python sell for?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yeah probably. And sorry for the confusingness. If you remember punnet squares from school is kind of like that.

Honestly, ball pythons dont need huge cages. Anywhere from a 41 qt bin too a 33-40gallon tank. Make sure to provide extra hides if the tank is large.

I think it depends on the market you're playing to and who's viewing what you're trying to sell... I've seen people shell out near $100 for a normal ball python on craigslist, I've also seen them be offered up for free and have no takers. *shrugs*

Keep it! Very pretty ^_^

most normal adult ball pythons will go for about $15 at reptile shows (I have seen them as low as $5 and as high as $60 but most are between 10 and 20 dollars). On craigslist people seem to get around $50-100 if the cage is included and depending on the quality of the enclosure, not the snake itself. Just my observations. In pet stores I have seen the snake sell without an enclosure for $150 because the sign called it "pretty phase ball python" despite it being normal and not het for anything.

The market is currently flooded with ball pythons and the only reason I would get any would be to use them as feeder snakes once I get my O.hannah. If you sell it to anyone that realizes that there are too many of them, they will not sell well. If you sell it to a friend that does not know a lot about snakes then you will get more. Honestly though I suggest just hanging onto her since you can provide her a good home and seem to like her. Not many people care for normal ball pythons- they all want the newest ugliest morph out there.

i wouldnt sell to someone that didnt know anything about snakes. but over here a male that size would go for £60-£80 depends if its a good feeder/shedder etc.
female near or of breeding weight £100-£120.

my little less than 2 foot guy was $30 from bob clark and he is a normal, brother thinks possibly het albino

A 20 gallon long cage could house her for life, or a 40 gallon breeder..

Something like a 175 is big enough that it could actually cause her stress..
