How much would u pay?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I find that when I compare any of my fish purchases they are all more expensive ($1100 8" HBRTG, $40 pb, $100 IT, 2 8" motoro $300). It all depends on location. I still enjoy my fish hobby very much and don't regret spending money on the fishes. It's all good!!!

Why do you think you've overpaid? If both parents are what you say they are they will still go trough an amazing transformation. Thousand Island Leos are not my favorite leos nevertheless they are said to be a spectacular site. Nice specimens are worth a fortune.
Not to be rude, but somehow I get the impression you don't know what you are talking about. Are the parents really Thousand Island Leos, if they are you're a lucky guy to get them, whatever the cost. The other thing I was wondering why you didn't ask this question before you bought the rays if you did'nt have a clue what they're worth. Seems a bit odd.
Anyways back to the rays. They are beautiful, whatever kind of leo they are, and if you have the oppertunity to keep them for the next twenty years or so, and enjoy them every day they are worth every cent.

Good luck with them and keep us updated,
Greetings Mark

In spore this kind of quality i think would properly cost you 7k~8k a pc at least. I guess more islands will be coming out when it is 12in. Normally Leo spots are not much and no tiny spots in between:)

Thank you all for your valuable inputs. The reason why I feel so bad about paying this price is because I was offered some much bigger (about 12") and nicer specimen at a slightly lower price after I have committed. I always buy on impulse. Also, I do not have the pic until I bring them home thus only able to post now. btw they r not the most exp rays I have buy so far but just feel that they r not worth the money i paid. anyway life goes on

The parents are definitely thousand island cause I saw them with my own eyes. But again, nice parentage may not be necessary = nice pups. The previous previous batch of pups have 1 very normal looking leo.

ok, so much as to saying, thank you once again for your inputs and I have got my answer.

Mod, please close this thread if appropriate. Thank you.

I suppose u bought the parents too. Cheers mate

haha i guess i would not have even posted here in the 1st place asking if I had overpaid for these 2 pups assuming i hv bought the parent as well coz then the pricing is for the whole batch of rays.

maybe u mean how sure i am that these 2 pups are from the same parent I have seen??

Guess I should have only started the thread as "How much is this pair worth in your opinion" to simplify the discussion

Yo bro, take it easy. I guess I know where does your source comes from. Anyway, since you have already bought it. Then rear them up and see whether will they transform into thousand islands. The transformations should starts when the reaches 9"-10 onwards..........Btw, this is based on my personal experience whereby I bought a very nice LEO and at 9" onwards, it began to transfer into a thousand islands!!! ;)
