At the end of the day it's your money and your time and effort to pay for and care for him. If you feel like"omg I have to get him" then do it. Don't just get him because people say you should.

A dovii is for life not just for Christmas!

24" long 125g tank? Must have some interesting dimensions on that one.

Would definitely pick that Dovii up for that price if you manage to get a longer tank.

Yeah, I have seen the ad too because I am in Utah too :). At first, he of she wanted 200$ for him. I agree, it does seem like Utah is mostly into Africans, or that is what the LFS normally sales primarily. ;)
