How much would you pay for this fish?

This fish is only worth as much as the buyer wants to pay for it, the market for them in your area and their prices. I for one do not like hybrids, but am a fan of rt, but would not pay x amount of dollars for a fish that is "supposed" to fade. I'm with papawoody on this one, I believe it should've faded or at least started to fade at 5".

Most people probably wouldn't feel safe to pay $50 for most cichlids (maybe besides Frontosas) especially at their LFS, unless your a reg. or good customer. However, if it were purchased on here the fish could hold sentimental value to their original owner, who most likely took real good care of the fish and keep in mind that you know where it is coming from too. There are a few differences when buying a fish from here then from a LFS.

i'd pay about $25, grow him out a little more and when he fades, sell him for $40-$50

Anyone who thinks they will buy a red texas for $15 is a lil mental. Maybe a $15 rehoming fee on top of the $30-$50 adoption fee. lol
