LOL, not another thread! Where is it being sold? in the U.S? My guess is it's one of many very good 3 bar indos that are being sold as ST. That's if it's a recent picture. Give them 150$ it's your money. In Bangkok the go for 10$ while the normal Indos go for 3$. Real STs go for mega bucks, and i've never seen a small one, only 8 inches up. The vendors tell you it's ST but if you pester them they'll tell you it's 3 bar indo. "Just teh smae as ST though!" Google Chatuchak market if you'd like to know where i shop for fish, there isn't any tropical fish that can't be bought there.
A poster from Sumatra wrote how there were far too many indos caught and how middle me couldn't get rid of them. They can get rid of the STs though. "cough".

sounds like you know what it is:)

if you think its a ST then its not its a high grade IT

so even at $80 its ok but dont think its a ST because its not

i would pay $80 for it just because i like the look of the fish not because i think its ST

I bought one from That Fish Place 6 months ago, looked exactly like that one - same size and barring. It's labeled ST with an IT latin name. That Fish Place says the ones they are getting are coming from a russian supplier. I paid $19.99 for that Dat and $30 for a 4" AT. I honestly have no clue which species it is and it's not the most important thing for me - I'd be quite happy w/ an IT or ST.

That says it all really. Same here, sold as STs but really the vendor will tell you it's IT. If something is gone, the next best thing will inherit the name or the prestige.
