how much would you pay for this ray ?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
$300 to $400. Its also depend where you stay..

18'' female plain motoro sells through vendors at $450,,,,,,,,,,that looks like a large female (What is called "Royal") Colombian marble, that may demand an easy $500 up to $750.
But what one is willing to pay is the actual value.

$300? That would be a steal for one that big around here.... We pay $300 for a motoro about 5 inche disc diameter around here... And that's at the GOOD LFS in these parts. Wouldn't even want to know what the other clowns around here would charge for a ray.

i would give my pinky toe for that ray with a nice 400 gallon setup. you dont believe me? PM me and we will arrange it!

$500 would be max. Be honest, where are you going to find an 18" Ray on demand? You can only compare it to a fresh import and that is not cheap for a fish that big as well as the risk of it not being healthy.

As far as commenting on its quality of pattern - to each his own. It's up to you, pay what you are comfortable with, but focus more on if you really like/want the ray and are not settling on it b/c the price is right.

thanks guys for all your comments. i think ive missed the chance now and the ray is probably sold but your imput has been appreciated and helpfull .

if it turns out that i can get hold of it ill surley put some pics up :) .

thanks again :)

Wos..$300 for a 5" motoro...that was expensive...I just got my 5.5" motoro pair here in Malaysia for RM500, that is aprox $140...:nilly:

$600 - $800 USD. That is a large ray that has a very nice pattern. It would be an instant breeder.

Colin

I would agree 100% Big females with a nice spot pattern like that. 300.00 as suggested by others is on the low side.
