If your looking to make money on them, keep them until they spawn a couple of times. If you just want to make room and get rid of them, a 100-150.00 max. Like Mike and cichlidgirl said, location or market demand will drive the price.

Its the same idea as people who can buy 6 and 7 foot used tanks with all the filters and equip. for 250 or 350 dollars (usually west coast and big cities). Out in the sticks near the canadian border where i live fish tanks in general (both new and used) are rare and are more expensive. A used 6 foot tank here goes for 8-900 dollars if its just tank and stand, more if there are filters etc.. that same tank out in cali would be around 250 bucks. Its all about location, location, location. I paid 35 dollars each for my burundi at a LFS that no longer carries them because there were no local breeders for them. After keeping them and joining websites like this one i now have bought some rarer mpimbwe frontosa juvies for 10 bucks each. But i personally dont like to buy fish unseen on the internet so if i want to buy them locally i have to go to the over priced LFS or do with out.

I live in Illinois and 1 to 2 inch sell for 20 to 25 6 to 8 inch male go for around 80 to 100 females not to far behind that price.

this weekend they sold at auction for 10-20 for fronts that size and larger.
