i saw a 8" chili red aro in the lfs a min ago it wasnt very red only the fins had a small amount of red but they were charging $2599 is that a sensible price? the also had a 20" silver in a 40" tank (if that) but it had no barbels i assume it was handed in

get a pic and post it up... make sure a chilli red... some LFS will try pushing off Banjar Reds as Chilli's... They are very pricey fish...

jusst searched for pics of chilli reds looked nothing like those

Only way to be sure is to do your homework on the fish and see if they have any certs to them.

yeah, post pics here or on arofanatics and ask. Most likely a g2 or 1.5 red (banjar). Cert may or may not be correct.
