how much should one pay for 2" fronts? The place where i buy all my fish is selling them for $40. I have never seen a sick or tore up fish in his store. But 40 bux seems kind of steep.
 
$40 is way too high, depending on what type they are. Your "normal" fronts go for about $15-$20 around here for that size. It may be worth it for you to drive to IN for the price lol.
 
I have heard and seen these guys for sale around here Angels and more for 30.00 at a little more than 1 or 1 1/2 inches, but they never look very good... the color is so dull on them... but special types that are certain do cost more..

These fish have nice color. blueish white with black bars. Do those sound like red fronts as juvies? I have never heard of reds
 
30 would be the most.i got my norm fronts fpr 25 at 1 inch
 
I never heard of red frontosas. Does he have a collection point? Burundi fronts go for around $12 around here at about 1.5". Kipili, Kapampa, and Mobas go for much more when they're available. Red fronts sound interesting, any pics of adults?
 
I've seen reds around here for as low as $25. I've never seen an adult though.
