I think healing will be apparent within 2 weeks, which really isn't cruel for most healthy subadult fish imo.
If I were to do that he'd have to go. Which I have considered, because of the size difference, the curu can very easily take him out. But thing is, I've never seen the curu actively chase him, only thing he ever did was a little flare and show that he'd be ready to charge and the mala would move. Hey be never come into contact aggressively.ni honestly think he ran into something. The inly fish the mala fights with is the odoe, which granted is the curu size, usually loses to the mala, nor is it ever a full on fight it literally consists of them charging maybe getting a bite in if even and swimming off separately. But I don't think the odoe is capable of doing that to the mala. I think he might if done that and ran into the wood when turning to swim off and maybe didn't navigate very well in the dark?Only other thing to mention is, are you going to consider housing the mala and curu separately? Would just be a shame if he recovered and within two weeks received a wound he couldn't recover from.
Exactly my thoughts.Hope the wolf pulls through....been thru enough!
i put cardboard over the top, only thing I could find big enough, he was fine, I just got home from boxing practice, he's upright and fine as of now. I put some stress coat and salt in. I went a got a heater as well. It's like a full set up. Just not big enough lol.Rough, I figured he'd be down to chill but maybe the small water volume lead him to see greener pastures. Time to rig up a cover.
