Just seen the update late sorry for your loss moe its hard loosing prize fish , ive been there plenty of times myself. You'll find yourself another mala at some point just keep searching for the ideal sized one

Hopefully one will come along.

If I had a 600 gallon tank I would definitely save up for an aimara!

Well I've had some rough life experiences so yea it sucks to lose a fish, but it wouldn't make me think of leaving the hobby, because the hobby is one of my outlets so to speak. And I really have a passion for fish.
