How often do i switch up the aquascaping?

Just wondering if its good to change the driftwood and rocks etc wen u do waterchanges or is it better to leave it and let the fish get used to it? Iv always been switching it up all the time.

unless you are setting up a full on biotope, the scape is of little consequence to the fish. its purely for your viewing pleasure. but constantly switching it up can stress your fish.
id say, set it up how you like it, then leave it alone.

i change mine around about once a year, more for my own pleasure, but it also serves to eliminate all teritories set up. Its a good thing to do when adding new fish sometimes.

probably once every 3-4 months or when i add smaller fish.

I agree . . . I try not to re-arrange unless I am adding a fish, or removing one.

I'd prefer not to do it when removing even, but it becomes necessary since otherwise it is too easy for them to hide

I usually change mine about once every 3 months since my fish get a bit too territorial sometimes.

Every 1-2 months, always minor (same decor, rearranged)

You can manipulate fish behavior quite a bit by "aquascaping" - territories, spawning sites, where you want each species to hang out, etc. So I guess it really depends on the purpose....keep rearranging until you achieve what you want to do at that particular time.

or just set it up right the first time, and dont further stress out your fish by moving their stuff around all the tine
