Once a day with Hakari sticks.

My 3 black aro's get fed 2x a day. shrimp,tilapia and crawlers

feed it as it wants to eat, naturally it will taper off in appetite.
stable water parameters and clean water will keep its appetite up, thus growing larger quicker and stockier.

no put of regulating its feeding - in nature, they dont regulate feeding , it eats as it sees food and siezes any moment to feed.
try to simulate that and you shall get 1 to 1.25 inch a month growth up to 15 to 16 inches

There ya go.
an aro that hasnt had tapered appetite. my rtg tapered, balck aro tapered, my jardinii never tapered lol pig. my vip red is 48 cms plus now and still eats 3 prawns average a day (with shell no head)

i guess depends on fish and water stability.

feed as much as they wanna eat, as long as its quality food. not extremely fatty.
