How often do you test your water?

So after purchasing 1/2 dozen fish recently, I realized that I forgot to add testing when you bring new fish home for quarentining. Wow, the ph results were all over the place from the tanks/bags the fish came hm in. This gives me the ability to adjust accordingly & to make sure there is no more stress then is already. Very, very easy way to lose a beautiful new addition. Been a while for new arrivals & completely forgot about mentioning, testing them in my prior posts. Insurance, insurance, insurance.

I probably do a test every few months. Probably not enough but...........

Until something happens at the water works and you tap water is screwed up.

Luckily I have well water.

I usually test about once a week just so I have an idea what is going on in the tank. After water changes, I like to make sure that everything is good shape so I test Ammonia a few days after.

I spend more time worrying about my city water than my tank water.
