how often on water changes?

okay, i have 1 peacockbass in a 75g temporarily. i have a 300g waiting. its about 4inches, he's the only resident in there and the water is super duper clean/clear. Do i really need to do large amount of water changes twice a week?

Last question, how do you guys with rocks and planted tanks, vac your tank? like dieselmack, awesome aquascaping, but is it hard to vac?

With a fish that small I would do 25% once a week, just keep an eye on the params.

water changes are determined by the nitrate levels.... decide on how much is ok and change water to keep it there.....using a test kit
