How often to feed bass

Studies have shown most adult fish can maintain activity at around .75% dry weight to gross weight at tropical temps (~78 F). For reference this would be approximately 3.5g a day per pound of fish. For growing fish you should feed 2-3% dry weight daily which would be around 9g/lb.

Personally I feed smaller fish 1-2 times daily and adult fish 6 days a week with 1 day of fasting.

I was told this by Drstrangelove in a thread I posted 7 years ago. I didn't quote the full post here because the numbers he used were in reference to my stocking but I've used it as a guide for healthy active fish ever since.
